BRAHMA CONFUSED WITH BRAHM
|
(20) In his book Dr. Gupta has continuously used the word Brahman for BRAHM, the Lord of Trikuti i.e. the Lord of the three Loks similarly as other non-Satsangi literary writers have been doing, without paying any heed to the correct spelling which is 'BRAHM' as used by Huzur Maharaj, Maharaj Saheb and Babuji Maharaj in the books authored by Them.
(21) I have very specifically and categorically pointed out this fact to Dr. Gupta in my letter dated 2.7.02. So by 'Brahman' Dr. Gupta means the creator/Lord of the Trikuti. It is, therefore, hoped that he knows very well the distinction and difference between the terms 'Brahman' and 'Brahma', Brahman as used by Dr. Gupta is the Brahm, the Lord of Trikuti or the Creator of three Loks whereas Brahma is simply one of the three deities of the sacred Hindu Trinity, entrusted with the work of creating the world. He is much lower force than Brahman or Brahm. Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh together known as Trinity, are stationed in the And, the lower part of the Brahmand.
(22) But while translating into English, Bachan No. 34 of Sar Bachan Radhasoami Prose Part II, Dr. Gupta has confused Brahma with Brahm. The original Bachan is reproduced below along with its English translations as made by the Late S.D. Maheshwari and Dr. Gupta in a tabular form.

Translation by the Late S.D. Maheshwari |

Translation by Dr. Gupta |
| Beginning with Brahma all the devtas (gods) that be, and all incarnations that have ever appeared right down from Ram and Krishna, are lower in status than Sants while Sants are above them all in rank. They are but agents and ministers while Sants are Kings. |
The rank of all Gods from Brahman onward and all the avtars from Ram and Krishna etc. onward is much lower than that of the saints, and the rank of the saints is of the highest order. All of them (gods and avtars etc.) are managed officers and ministers (servants) while the saints are kings. |
|
(23) In the original text in Hindi the word is " Brahma" which, as stated above, means one of the three deities of the Hindu trinity, entrusted with the work of creating the Pind i.e., the generative force, but the English translation made by Dr. Gupta equates him with Brahman (the President or Lord of the second grand division of creation) which he spells as Brahman all through his book. To equate Brahman with Brahm is a great blunder.
(24) Dr. Gupta also confused 'preceding' (right down from) with 'following' (onward). Mark the difference between the expression "right down from Ram and Krishna" in the translation made by the late S.D. Maheshwari and the expression "From Ram and Krishna onward" in the translation made by Dr. Gupta. It would be appreciated if Dr. Gupta will kindly furnish the names of some of the avtars of Brahm who followed or appeared after Ram and Krishna.
